The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission has announced that it would continue the anti-dumping and countervailing investigations on hollow structural section imports from Taiwan, China, South Korea and Malaysia. The measures of anti-dumping and countervailing were due on July 2nd, 2017.
This review was filed by Australia's Australian Tube Mills Pty Ltd and Orrcon Manufacturing Pty Ltd.
The current anti-dumping duty was applicable to all exporters of hollow structural section from Taiwan, China, South Korea and Malaysia, and countervailing duty was applicable to all Chinese importers in addition to Dalian Steelforce Hi-Tech Co. Ltd. (Dalian), Huludao City Steel Pipe Industrial Co. Ltd and Qingdao Xianxing Steel Pipe Co. Ltd.
The anti-dumping duty rate to China was 1.9%~100%; that to South Korea was 1.9%; that to Taiwan was 3.0%~33.0%; that to Malaysia was 53.1%. The countervailing duty rate to China was 12%~55.8%.
The customs tariff codes of the involved products were 7306.30.00, 7306.61.00, 7306.61.00, 7306.69.00 and 7306.50.00.
