Scrap
- Prices for Taiwanese containerized HMS # 1&2 80:20 imports gained ny $4 a ton to reach $242 a ton during the week ended June 02, according to the figures from The Steel Index.
- Nordic producer Ovako will keep its July scrap surcharge steady at June’s level of SEK 2,049/mt (€209.7/mt) for hot rolled products. Since it peaked at SEK 2,207/mt in April, the surcharge has come down by more than 7%. - source: Platts
