- Metal Bulletin’s daily index for Northern Europe-origin scrap closed the day on Wednesday at $288.72 per tonne cfr, up by $1.50 per tonne day-on-day.

- US bulk scrap export continued to gain steam further supporting the domestic market. The market returned to work on Wednesday to find export numbers had reached $296-$298/mt CFR Turkey HMS 80:20 basis after the two most recent sales from a US East Coast supplier.
