- The European ferrous scrap market for HMS 1&2 (80:20) cfr Turkey has moved up by about $28 per tonne in the past few weeks. Metal Bulletin’s daily scrap index for Northern Europe-origin HMS 1&2 (80:20) scrap into Turkey was assessed at $367.69 per tonne cfr on March 13. - In Singapore, the lowest offer was down by $5/mt to $570/mt CFR for 10-40 mm theoretical weight for a backto-back cargo from a major Chinese exporting mill, a Shanghai-based trader said. - In Hong Kong, the most competitive offer for Chinese 10-40 mm rebar was heard at $575/mt CFR actual weight for April shipment, down by $5/mt, a local stockist said.
