• On the Shanghai Futures Exchange the October rebar contract closed CNY 3/tonne lower than Friday at CNY 3,803/t ($593/t). – source: Kallanish 

• Eastern China's Shagang, Zenith Iron & Steel and Yonggang Iron & Steel have all increased their rebar prices by CNY 30/t to the same level of CNY 4,200/t.– source: Kallanish 

• Shagang is offering CNY 4,430/t for high speed wire rod and CNY 4,450/t for rebar in coil, while Zenith and Yonggang offer CNY 4,540/t for both products. – source: Kallanish
