Russia’s Severstal, one of the country’s largest steel producers, said on Thursday its crude steel output rose 2 percent quarter-on-quarter to 3.06 million tonnes.
Crude steel sales totalled 2.71 million tonnes, down 5 percent compared to the previous quarter. This was due to short-term maintenance works at rolling mill facilities, the company said.
