India has initiated a sunset review of anti-dumping duties on China-origin imports of ductile iron pipe, Kallanish learns from the Directorate General of Trade Remedies.
This follows a petition from Electrosteel Casting Limited, Srikalahasti Pipes Limited, and Jindal SAW who alleged the likelihood of continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury from the subject goods.
The $127.40-139.79/tonne duties were initially imposed in 2007 and then extended in 2013. They apply to HS codes 73030030 and 73030090.
The period of investigation for the purpose of the present investigations is January 2017 to December 2017. The injury investigation period will cover the periods 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17 and the period of investigation.
