Brazilian authorities have concluded their review of the existing anti-dumping duties on stainless cold rolled coil (ferritic and austenitic). They have decided to keep them for another five years for imports from China and Taipei, and cancel those for Vietnam, Germany, South Korea and Finland.
The duties were originally imposed in 2013 and have been in the process of review since the end of last year.
The authorities decided that Vietnamese, German, South Korean and Finnish products did not represent a threat to domestic industry, Kallanish notes.
The products subject to the anti-dumping duty are under HS codes 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00 and 7220.20.00.
