According to the report on December 25th, Tan Viet Quang Company Limited, one of the steelmakers in Vietnam, started construction of a stainless steel plant in Que Hai commune, in the province of Quang Tri, with an investment of VND 1.6 trillion, which was expected to complete by the first quarter of 2021.
According to the company, the new plant would have an annual production capacity of 240,000 tons and be equipped with state-of-the-art devices and technologies to achieve environmental friendliness.
The plant was anticipated to have annual revenue of VND3.6 trillion/year and contribute annually to VND100 billion to the Vietnam government’s budget.
