HDG import down in Taiwan

According to statistics from Taiwan Customs, the import of hot-dip galvanized steel product was 21,302 tons in September, a reduction of 3 percent from last month. And the average price was at NT$22,580/ton, increasing by NT$450/ton from last month.

 

Among them, China provided 11,131 tons with average price at NT$21,810/ton; Japan exported 9,326 tons to Taiwan with NT$23,150/ton; South Korea occupied 845 tons with NT$26,400/ton.

 

Moreover, China’s import raised by around 8 percent compared to it was in last month.
