Viet Nam Steel Corporation on Tuesday signed a co-operation agreement with the Viet Nam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines), said Nguyen Thanh Dong, chief of Viet Nam Steel’s Committee Secretariat.
"Vinalines has a high-quality fleet and we have already been partners for a long time," said Dong.
The two sides agreed to use one another’s products in their business activities. Vinalines will use steel made by Viet Nam Steel to build and repair its vessels as well as build ports and other facilities. Viet Nam Steel will in turn use the shipping fleet and port system of Vinalines for transporting their products.
