Sales of Viet Nam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association
(VAMA) members reached 10,110 units in November, a year-on-year rise of 167
percent and the highest record so far this year.
VAMA said its members have sold 68,388 units during the past
11 months, a year-on-year rise of 97 percent.
Commercial vehicles accounted for 5,452 units, a
year-on-year increase of 235 percent, while passenger cars made up 2,177 units,
a year-on-year increase of 198 percent.

Meanwhile, Viet Nam Daewoo Motors (Vidamco) ranked fourth
with 1,016 units. November became the first month that Vidamco’s sales volume
hit the four-digit number.
According to initial statistics, manufacturers still have
around 10,000 orders. It is forecast that the “fever” for automobiles still
continues and the demand will especially increase when the Tet festival is
near.
