China’s
steel prices are on a rising trend after Chinese New Year Holiday. The main
reasons for price increasing are the higher production cost and strong demand.
Meanwhile, the steel billet and coke prices are also increased
a lot. Current price of 20MnSi billet is quoted at RMB4,400~4,450/ton, while
Q235 billet is prevailing at RMB4,300~4,500/ton.
