Construction steel prices set to spike in Vietnam
Vietnam’s
billet imports have decreased because China has restricted its export of
billet.
Current import prices of billet from China were
being quoted at high of US$1,200~1,300/ton. Consequently Vietnam’s
construction steel domestic prices are expected to rise higher at the end of
this year.
Vietnam
produced some 1.96 million tons of rolled steel products, increased by 6.7
percent compared to the same period of last year.
