Damage halts Bluescope's New Zealand steel making
Steel making was halted on Monday at Bluescope Steel Ltd's
mill in New Zealand when a water cooling system failure caused furnace damage, the company said.
Repairs will take seven to 10 days and result in the loss of
12,000 tonnes to 15,000 tonnes of steel slab production it said.
