Chinese output of HRC, plate expected to go down in October

Statistics based on a general survey on China’s main HRC makers reveal that both output and export in October will slow down due to mill’s increased maintenance activities coping with worldwide weak market.

For HRC, the scheduled output throughout the country totals 8.672 million tons, falling by 6.26 percent from last month, among which 612,000 tons are for export, sharply down by 25.82 percent month-on-month.

Same situation happens to plate: the total planned output is 3.34 million tons, of which export 415,000 tons, respectively dropped by 4.85 percent and 27.83 percent compared with last month.
