It is reported that Chinese hot rolled steel products prices continued its downward trend this week and the market panic continues.
The price of commercial HRC 4.75 to 12mm is being quoted at RMB3720/ton, down by RMB1,220/ton from September 19th. And the price of commodity grade 2.75mm HRC is at RMB3,900/ton, down by RMB980/ton.
For export offer, the prevailing prices for Q235 or SS400 HRC are at US$710 to US$730/ton FOB, and some mills agree to offer lower prices for real orders. But the demand still keeps weak and there is almost no transaction currently.
