Ministry of Finance, yesterday, decided to adjust the import tariff on steel and cast iron.
Under it, the import tariff on unalloyed steel and cast iron will be 2-5% while on the finished steel it will be 12%.
Import tariff on steel for the manufacturing engineering sector is 5%.
The decision will be enforced 15 days after being released.
