Asian slab price reaches bottom

Asian slab was quoted at US$350/ton FOB currently, while Japan offers slab to Korea at US$350-390/ton FOB.

 

Russia offered slab to Asia at only US$300/ton FOB, generating a great pressure on the local price.

 

It seems that the price of Asian slab will decline further because HR price has fallen to less than US$400/ton FOB.

 

In addition, price of Asian billet also went down and the sources said that CIS offered billet to Asia for less than US$300/ton FOB.
