Japan Feb crude steel output falls 44.2 pct yr/yr

Japan's crude steel output in February fell a record 44.2 percent from a year earlier to 5.48 million tonnes, dropping for the fifth straight month, the Japan Iron and Steel Federation said on Wednesday.

 

The monthly output was the lowest since June 1968, the industry group said.
