EU to impose provisional duties on Chinese pipe

EU may impose provisional duties on Chinese pipes and possibly to implement this policy in long term.

EU pipes makers claimed that Chinese pipe producers have offered lower price to Europe market and they have been forced to compete with Chinese products unfairly.

They have submitted a proposal to the EU, covering many industries, such as oil, electricity, construction. EU has announced that according to their investigation, Chinese pipes have not damaged European industries while they would insist to impose average rate of 24.2 percent anti-dumping tax on Chinese pipes in order to cope with potential threats.
