Turkish flat prices keep skidding

Turkish steel flat market is relatively weak at the moment, which is embodied in sliding price.

Although imported steels are very cheap and some mills have halted production, the market is without any clear sign of recovery any time soon.

Russian mills have lost interests on this market and turn to India and China. It is said that unless main downstream industries such as automobile, home appliance, ship-building and pipe manufacturing are recovering, flat steel price in Turkey is possibly to rebound.
