America's scrap exports soar by 17% in February
America exported 1.808 million tons of scrap in February, increased by 17 percent compared to the same period of last year.
China was the first largest importer from America at 2.936 million tons, up by 2.2 percent from last month.
Meanwhile, Turkey imported 489,000 tons of scrap from America, dropped by 7.6 percent compared to the same time of last year. Korea occupied 446,000 tons, India occupied 239,000 tons, and Taiwan occupied 180,000 tons.
