U.S. scrap export prices to East Asia soften
The U.S. scrap export price to East Asia has decreased slightly.
American export price of shredded scrap to China was being quoted at US$285/ton and that of H1 scrap was US$280/ton, down by US$10/ton than previous price.
During the second week of May, H1 scrap continued to rise to hit US$300/ton.
