Japan’s Tokyo Steel has announced to increase the scrap purchasing price by ￥500~1,000/ton yesterday, the new H2 scrap price is at ￥25,000~26,000/ton.
The company increased the price by ¥1,000/ton on 17 June.
This is the fifth time for Tokyo Steel to raise the price, the price in June raised by ￥3,500~4,000/ton in total.
