Taiwan’s rebar prices rise

Due to the raising scrap price, Taiwan’s Feng Hsin Iron & Steel announced to raise the rebar price by NT$300/ton to NT$16,300/ton.

Some other mills have also followed the lead of Feng Hsin to raise the rebar price.

One mill in south Taiwan even quoted the price at NT$16,300/ton, but due to the weak demand the price is not acceptable for the buyers.

Some mills have settled the price at NT$16,100/ton, but the quantity is not too much.
