Due to the increasing demand and tightness of supply, American busheling scrap price has gone up by US$25/ton; shredded scrap and HMS 1 have risen by a range between US$10-20 US dollar/ton, depending on the different regions.
Both domestic and international orders have pushed up the price since July.
The auto industry showed its revival since then and meanwhile steel mills were back on production. The various scrap prices are anticipated to increase by another US$10-20/ton in September.
