The Tay Ninh Rubber Joint Stock Co has put into operation the Steel Drum Plant with a capacity of 600,000 drums a year, in Go Gau district, Tay Ninh province.
The plant aims to meet the demand of the member units in the rubber sector for drums to contain centrifugal rubber latex for export.
In addition, drums will also be used to contain other chemicals and petroleum materials.
The plant has a total investment capital of 32.1 billion dong including 16.4 billion dong for construction and 15.7 billion dong for equipment and technologies.
This is the first ever packing drum plant of the rubber sector with the aim of meeting demand for the transportation of centrifugal rubber latex for export.
