Taiwan's GI market sees more demand from U.S.
Recently the U.S. has started to send more galvanized steel product inquiries to Taiwan, with better acceptance regarding Taiwan’s price levels.
As the price of U.S. local mills is still US$150/ton higher than the cost of imported material, this has enabled imported materials to gain an edge in competing with local suppliers, in terms of pricing.
Meantime, Australian buyers are also returning to the market and showing more interest in Taiwan’s galvanized steel material.
