Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) has predicted that the country's total steel sales in 2010 will be 5.8 million tonnes, up 10 percent year-on-year.
Talking with Saigon Economic Times Online yesterday, VSA's vice chair Nguyen Tien Nghi said that
The steel price (VAT exclusive) on the market now is around 11.2-11.7 million dong per tonne. The price will continue rising slightly because of the increases in prices of coal and iron.
