Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Co (coded HPG) has announced that after the end of 2009, the total production output of Hoa Phat steel mill in Hung Yen province was estimated at 356,185 tonnes, surpassing 34.4 percent of the year plan and increasing by 36.4 percent against the same period of last year.
The mill's production capacity was posted at 29,682 tonnes per month, and working period of 21 hours per day at average, exceeding by 42 percent of the designed capacity of 250,000 tonnes per year.
Previously, Hoa Phat Group has announced its business results in the first 11 months of 2009 with total revenue of 7.23 trillion dong, fulfilling 101 percent of the year plan and profit after tax of 1.236 trillion dong, surpassing by 34 percent.
In 2009, the group expects to reach total revenue of 7.9 trillion dong, profit after tax of 1.28 trillion dong.
The company set targets of gaining 11.8 trillion dong and 1.4 trillion dong of total revenue and profit after tax in 2010 respectively.
