Song Da billet steel mill officially put into operation
After nearly one month of trial operation, the
Song Da billet steel mill, under Song Da Steel Joint Stock Corp, has been officially put into operation lately. The steel mill has produced the first batch of high-quality products of steel billet.
From January 2010 onwards, it's expected that Song Da Steel mill will supply to markets 400,000-500,000 tonnes of steel billet. The steel mill was built in Hai Phong City with total investment capital of 964 billion dong, using Italian equipment and technologies with the purpose of saving energy and reducing environment pollution.
