Indonesia's state revenues in import duties dropped by almost half in the first week of the Asean-China Free Trade Agreement (AC-FTA) coming into effect.
Import duties receipts fell 48.3 per cent to Rp136.65 billion (US$14.9 million) in the week after the AC-FTA was implemented on January 1 compared with the same period last year, data at the customs office said.
Customs spokesman Evy Suhartantyo said the decline was not necessarily a result of resulted by the implementation of the FTA
