BHP Billiton has proposed to Japanese steelmakers a 55 percent hike in the price of its coking coal in the financial year from April 1 compared with the current year, the Nikkei business daily reported on Tuesday.
BHP aims to raise its prices for the first time in two years, as spot prices for steel raw materials have risen on the back of expanded steel output in
