China’s steel product inventory to drop by 9% in April

According to the China Iron and Steel Association, China’s steel product inventory is expected to drop by 9 percent from last month by the end of April.

 

Currently the steel products stockpiles in 20 major cities were expected to fall to 9.77 million tons. The higher costs of iron ore will let the steelmakers to prepare in the second quarter.

 

Chinese steelmakers mostly use cheaper iron ore whip shipped to China last year.
