Thai Sahaviriya Steel upbeat on 2010 sales growth
Sahaviriya Steel Industries:
- Aims for 2010 sales target of 50 billion baht ($1.6 billion) after posting strong sales in the first quarter, it said in a statement; outlook remains bright due to strong demand
- Expects to achieve production target of 2.7 million tonnes this year
- Reports first quarter net profit of 1.4 billion baht with sales up 106 percent; it had sales of about 33 billion baht in 2009
