S.Korea Hyundai Steel says cuts H-beam, rebar prices

South Korea's Hyundai Steel , the country's No.2 steelmaker, said on Thursday that it had lowered it price for H-beams, mainly used in construction, by 3.2 percent to 920,000 won ($763.20) per tonne from June 1.

While the steelmaker also decreased its rebar price by 3.6 percent to 801,000 won per tonne from the start of this month, it left unchanged hot-rolled steel prices, which were set at 850,000 won per tonne in April from May release, a company spokesman said.
