It’s reported that Japan planned to enhance the production capacity of specialty steel products to 1.776 million tons in the Q4, up by 6.3% from the Q3, including 1.2 million tons for domestic market and 576 thousand tons for foreign market.
Market participants predicted that Japan’s demand for specialty steel products have been increasing, driven by the restructure after the disaster.
It’s estimated that the country’s demand for specialty steel products would reach 1.792 million tons in the Q4.
Furthermore, industry sources have seen that the demand for specialty steel products would continue soaring in the Q4, especially that from automobile industry.
Also, it’s predicted that the country’s demand for stainless steel products from automobile and Industry machinery would increase.
