One still trapped in China coalmine explosion

At least 28 workers were killed after a gas explosion ripped through a coal mine in central China's Hunan Province.

 

According to Xinhua one worker is still trapped in the Xialiuchong Coal Mine in Hengyang city.

 

Earlier, when the explosion occurred on Saturday evening, 35 miners were working underground, of whom five were rescued, and two were confirmed dead, while the remaining 28 workers were trapped.

 

That time, five workers were rushed to hospital and reported no life-threatening conditions.

 

According to the report, search and rescue operations are still under way. (ANI)
