Construction of world’s largest stainless steel complex base starts in Chinese Wugang City

It’s reported that the construction of the world’s largest stainless steel complex base was started in Wugang City in Henan Province.

It’s said that it will take 5 years to complete the construction.

Once the construction is completed, the stainless steel complex base which owns annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of stainless steel plastic composite panel is expected to compensate the shortage in domestic market, reduce the reliance on imported material and cut the input costs.

The Chinese domestic demand for stainless steel plastic composite panel is more than 2 million tons per year; however, the domestic mills can only produce 200,000 tons. Thus, China has imported the materials from Japan, Germany and the US.
