Scrap

-          Some steel mills in Taiwan intended to cut domestic scrap prices by TWD 200 per tonne- source: Yieh

-          In Q1, the Latin American Steelmaker paid $600-620 per tonne CFR for slabs, down from an average price of $650 per tonne in Q4 2011 – source: MB

-          Offers for Korean billet to Southeast Asia up to $670-675 per tonne CFR- source: SBB

-          Hebei province’s Tangshan city ex-works prices for 150x150 mm Q235 maintained at RMB 3,720 ($591) per tonne, with 17% VAT on a cash-payment basis – source: SBB
