Taiwan's CSC cooperates with Posco to develop new raw material

It is reported that China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan is going to survey new raw material supply at overseas and develop new steel products together with its South Korean rival Posco.

In this April, Posco has already assisted CSC in acquiring a 2.5% stake indirectly from an iron ore mining project in Australia called Roy Hill while Posco owns 12.5% of stack in Roy Hill and 2.5% by South Korea's STX, a holding company.

This even has tightened the relationship on both sides to work even closely for mutual benefit.
