Scrap

-          US shredded scrap moves up $10 per long ton this week to $340-345 per long ton – source: SBB

-          Japanese H2 scrap in Kanto, Central and Kansai region unchanged at Yen 25,133 per tonne – source: Yieh

-          Domestic rebar price in South Europe rose slightly by Euro 15-25 to Euro 500-520 ($605-630) per tonne for August production – source: MB

-          Korea’s rebar prices sliding by KRW 5,000 – 10,000 ($4.3-8.7) per tonne – source: SBB

-          North China’s rebar prices continued to fall by another RMB 20-50 ($3-9) to about RMB 3,700 -3,730 ($580-584) per tonne for HRB 400 from Hebei Iron & Steel – source: SBB
