It’s reported that Japan and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have jointly made up the 10 year plan, attempting to increase volume and value of trade in goods between ASEAN and Japan including steel industry under the ASEAN Japan Strategic Economic Cooperation Roadmap 2012-2022.
The main focus is on stressing the development of small and medium sized enterprises, steel food and farming industry.
Japan may transfer steel technology in steel industry development and logistics to ASEAN countries.
