China’s Steel Prices
Flat
- China’s prices of Q235 5.5mm HRC on November 7 were prevailing at Yuan 3,880-3,920/metric ton ($621-628/mt) with 17% VAT in Shanghai and Yuan 3,990-4,000/mt with VAT in Guangdong's Lecong steel market, up by about Yuan 50/mt and Yuan 90/mt respectively from Monday – source: SBB

- Offer prices for Chinese boron-added rebar are prevailing at $570-580/metric ton CFR Hong Kong and Singapore, unchanged from prices in mid-October – source: SBB
- In the Beijing market, spot prices for 18-25mm diameter HRB400 rebar sourced from Hebei Iron & Steel dropped by a further Yuan 10/metric ton to reach around Yuan 3,640-3,670/mt ($583-588) including 17%VAT – source: SBB
