China’s Steel Prices

Flat

-       China’s base export offers for CRC stood at $680-685 per tonne fob for April shipment, up $10 per tonne from last week – source: MB

-       China’s prices for 2.75mm HRC surged by RMB 2 per tonne to RMB 4,224 per tonne; prices for 1.0mm CRC remain unchanged at RMB 4,763 per tonne – source: SBB

Semis

-          Malaysia’s rebar of 16mm or thicker is being offered at 2,130-2,150 ringgit ($697-704) per tonne on a locally delivered basis, compared with 2,100-2,120 ringgit last week – source: MB
