Long steel prices
- China’s prices of 6.5mm HPB235 up by RMB 5 per tonne to RMB 3,716 per tonne while prices of 20mm HRB335 up by RMB 4 per tonne to RMB 3,692 per tonne - source: SteelHome

- Chinese prices of 2.75mm HRC rose by RMB 9 per tonne to RMB 4,036 per tonne while prices of 1.0mm CRC rose by RMB 2 to RMB 4,779 per tonne – source: SteelHome
- China’s Q235 5.5mm HRC prices at RMB 3,850-3,880 per tonne ($621-626/mt) with 17% VAT in Shanghai and RMB 3,920-3,940/mt with VAT in Guangdong's Lecong steel market, both up by Yuan 20/mt from Tuesday – source: SBB
- China’s commercial-grade HRC (4.5-12mm) was traded at 3,900-3,930 yuan ($623-627) per tonne in Shanghai, up 10 yuan ($2) per tonne for the day – source: MB

Semis
- The London Metal Exchange’s three-month steel billet contract price stayed unchanged at $185-195 per tonne on Wednesday April 10 – source: MB
Bar
- Malaysian offers for rebar of 10-12mm diameter are at 2,340 ringgit ($768) per tonne on a locally delivered basis, down from 2,400 ringgit ($788) per tonne last week – source: MB
- Rebar export prices from Spain, Italy and Portugal are now at €460-465 ($600-607) per tonne fob main port, unchanged from last week – source: MB
HRC/P
- Turkish HRC producers also decreased their export offers to $585-595/mt FOB – source: SBB
- Turkish domestic producers have this week decreased their prices to as low as $580 per tonne ex-works for hot rolled coil (HRC), down from $610-620 per tonne ex-works last week – source: MB
