Scrap
- The steepest decline this week was seen in Turkish ship scrap prices. Melting scrap from shipbreaking is now being offered to mills in western Turkey at $340-345/metric ton delivered to mill, up to $10/mt lower than last week, according to the Ship Recyclers' Association (Gemisander) – source: SBB

- Turkish billet prices have been increased to $510-520/mt FOB northern and southern Turkey from $505- 510/mt FOB Turkish ports last week, factoring in the latest scrap offer hikes – source: SBB

Bar
- Turkish rebar prices headed up $5-10/metric ton on Wednesday to around $565-570/mt FOB. However, prices were depending on the port, as mills reacted to stronger valuations by US scrap merchants for end-July shipments, market participants told Platts.
