China’s Steel prices
Long steel prices
- In Beijing, grade III rebar was traded at 3,320-3,370 yuan ($537-545)
per tonne, unchanged since last Thursday – source: MB
- In
Shanghai, rebar price was steady at 3,220-3,300 yuan ($520-533) per tonne

Flat steel prices
- Commercial-grade
HRC (4.5-12mm) in Shanghai traded at 3,450-3,470 yuan ($558-561) per tonne,
tightening upwards by 10 yuan ($2) per tonne from last Friday – source: MB
