Taiwan sets provisional AD duties on CR stainless imports from China, Korea

It’s reported that Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance announced to set provisional antidumping (AD) duties of 20.5~46% on stainless cold rolled products from Korea and China, effective from August 15th.

 

It’s learned that the provisional duties of 20.52% will be imposed on imports from Taigang Stainless Steel, Tianjin Taigang Tianguan Stainless Steel, Tisco Stainless Steel (HK) Ltd, and Tisco Trading (HK) Ltd. and the duties of 45.6% will be on imports from other Chinese exporters and producers.

 

Meanwhile, the provisional AD duties of 27.26% will be applied on imports from Korean Posco, Daewoo International Corp, GS Global Corp, Hyosung Corp and Hyundai Corp and 46.02% will be on imports from other Korean producers and exporters.

 

Besides, the products involved in this case are austenitic grades 301, 304, 304L, 316, 316L and 321 cold rolled stainless steel products with thickness below 4.75mm.

 

In addition, the ministry will make the final determination within 60 days.
